The Wordsmiths of Melbourne is a group of poets with a Christian ethos, which meets on the second Saturday of every month (except January), from 2pm-5pm at 8 Woodhouse Road, Doncaster East, Victoria. Members of the group also receive a quarterly newsletter which includes a page from Poet’s Corner.  Writings of the Wordsmiths of Melbourne have also appeared in the anthologies and individual works published by Poetica Christi Press, as well as publications and journals outside the group.  Members meet to affirm each other’s work.  Well known guest poets are often invited to lead Poetry Workshops with the group.  New members are always welcome.

Participation in regular monthly workshops is $5 per event and $3 concession, membership is $30 per year and special events are as advertised.
